General principles of handling leather and fur products. Never dry wet skin and fur by heating on a battery or a hair dryer. Only natural and slow drying. Direct sunlight will lead to drying, cracking and burnout. The skin and fur should "breathe". Therefore, never store leather and fur items in sealed bags.
You need to store leather clothes in linen or canvas bags in a cool closet. To clean a leather jacket, you must first wipe it with a damp cloth or special napkins impregnated with leather products. It is not necessary to clean the skin too often, it simply does not need it. Do not put the fur product in the closet and do not forget that drying the fur coat leads to lint loss. If you are caught in heavy rain or wet snow, and some water remains on the fur coat, you need to place it on hangers and dry at room temperature naturally. Roughly speaking, a fur product needs to "recover" after exposure to water. Such attention to the thing may seem superfluous to someone, but if you want the fur coat to serve you as long as possible, then it is justified. After you have dried the fur coat properly, it's time to comb it first along the pile, and then against it. Do not use your comb for this, metal combs are suitable for fur. After the work done, manually smooth the pile and shake the product. Do this every time your fur coat is exposed to water: if you do not do this, the villi will clog, and after drying they will never have their original appearance. An important point of care for a fur product is cleaning. We recommend that you do not do this yourself, but entrust the matter to dry cleaning specialists.
